Mantis Tornado Pumps can be used inside or out of a sump. They’re fully controllable with 20 speed settings, pulse controls and feed pause, superior quiet operation, high performance ceramic bearings, and auto shutdown in the event of power interruption.

The secret of its power and quiet operation is in the design of the turbine of internal propellers, closed in a chamber between two covers affecting the minimum possible flow of the pump in long installations, with elbows.

The Mantis Tornado Pumps also feature 3 operating modes:

• Continuous Flow Mode
• Pulse Mode: This mode causes the pump to ramp up and down continually, allowing for a 'pulsating' operating method. This helps create wave motion within display tanks, fountains and in ponds. You can also change/adjust the pulse frequency and output.
• Mode Power: This mode delays the starting of the pump by 10 minutes.
