ALL-FOR-REEF is an easy- to-use, highly concentrated solution for the supply of ALL essential minerals and trace elements in new or moderately stocked reef aquariums.

Minerals are consumed through the growth of organisms and other processes in the aquarium and must therefore be supplemented regularly. These include mainly the necessary elements calcium, magnesium and strontium and carbonate hardness elements for the growth of the calcareous skeletons of stony corals, red coralline algae and other reef organisms. ALL FOR REEF contains all these components in highly concentrated form and also contains the most important trace elements: Iodine, bromine and fluorine for growth and stabilization of the skeletons of stony corals, sponges and crustaceans; selenium to eliminate free radicals; molybdenum and vanadium for the establishment of important enzyme complexes.

With these components, co-ordinated in their concentration ratio, ALL-FOR-REEF creates excellent care conditions in only one solution. No additional compounds are created (e.g. sodium chloride) that alter the salinity or the ion balance.

How to use:

The 800 g dose of All-For-Reef Powder is enough for 5 litres of dosing solution, the 1600 g dose is enough for 10 litres of dosing solution.

Start with a daily dose of 5 ml of ALL-FOR-REEF per 100 litres (26 US-gal) of aquarium system volume. Increase the daily dosage – by continuous control of the alkalinity – weekly by 2.5 ml per 100 litres (26 US-gal) of aquarium system volume, until a constant carbonate hardness of 7 to 9 °dH is reached.

Do not exceed a maximum daily dose of 25 ml of ALL-FOR-REEF per 100 litres (26 US-gal) of aquarium system volume.

500 ml ALL-FOR-REEF contain 20,000 mg calcium, 950 mg magnesium, 390 mg strontium, 2,800 °carbonate hardness and 17 mg iodine.

Nitrate +

Tropic Marin NP-Bacto-Balance is a mixture of selected organic compounds to promote the incorporation of nitrate and phosphate in supplementary biomass. Use aof Tropic Marin NP-Bacto-Balance:
Dosing depends on the age of the aquarium:
In the case of new and young tanks (0-1 years old*) no more than 0.25 ml per 100 l/25 US-Gal. tank content should be added per day. In tanks of a medium age (1-2 years old*) up to 0.5 ml per 100 l/25 US-Gal. can be dosed per day, whilst mature tanks (>2 years old*) can receive from 0.5 to 1 ml for 100 l/25 US-Gal. aquarium water per day. A dosage of 1 ml per 100 l/25 US-Gal. tank content per day should not be exceeded under any circumstances.

In order to enhance the effect of Tropic Marin NP-Bacto-Balance, however, the dosage may be increased every 2 weeks by 0.25 ml per 100 liters/25 US-Gal. of aquarium water daily, in no case more than the maximum daily dose of 1 ml each 100 l/25 US-Gal. of aquarium system water volume. For best results, add Tropic Marin NP-Bacto-Balance to a high water flow area in the tank at the beginning of the lighting cycle. Attention: A dosage of 1 ml each 100 l/25 US-Gal. of aquarium system water volume must not be exceeded. If a clouding of the tank is observed after the elevation of the dosage of Tropic Marin NP-Bacto-Balance, the dosage should be reduced to the previous level.

Is an essential minor element with an average seawater concentration of 4.4 ppm. It aids in the calcification process of coral skeleton and acts as a PH buffer to maintain a stable PH in your aquarium. Depleted boron can result in unstable PH and slower coral growth. Macroalgae and coralline algae use boron for steady growth.

BROMINE

Is a minor element with an average seawater concentration of 65 ppm. It is an essential element for all inhabitants in your aquarium and plays a vital role in the synthesis of chromoprotein and zooxanthellae. Corals use bromine for the synthesis of photosynthetic enzymes. Bromine can quickly become depleted in your aquarium, so maintaining seawater levels is important.

NitraPhos X

NitraPhos X contains organic carbon sources for denitrification. Nitrates form in the water from fish and coral waste, and uneaten decomposed food. Bacteria use the oxygen present in the nitrates to oxidize the carbon making nitrate into free nitrogen to complete the nitrogen cycle. Corals use nitrates so maintaining stable nitrate levels between 0.08 - 0.5 ppm for optimal health for all inhabitants in the aquarium.

Phosphate X contains concentrated lanthanum salts to remove organic and inorganic phosphate in the aquarium. Lanthanum bonds with dissolved phosphate and precipitates, then the lanthanum phosphate can be exported from skimming and filter socks/wool. Maintaining a low and stable phosphate level between 0.02 - 0.1 ppm is vital for coral tissue growth as zero phosphates can cause coral bleaching. Overdosing may cause a white residue on the glass.

Dose in a high flow area in your aquarium. This product is to be used for marine aquariums only with a protein skimmer.

Like calcium and strontium, magnesium is used in the calcification of skeletons of reef organisms. In many cases, magnesium is used in place of calcium for calcification. In addition to its role in calcification, magnesium is used by organisms ranging from bacteria, to coralline algae to fish.
How can you be sure if magnesium levels are deficient? There are a couple of indications; severely depleted levels of magnesium (below 800 mg/L) can cause depressed pH levels and an inability to maintain proper calcium levels (more on ionic imbalance).The best way to tell if you need a magnesium supplement, though, is to test for it using a magnesium test kit such as Seachem’s Reef Status™ Magnesium, Borate and Carbonate Alkalinity.

If you’ve determined your magnesium levels are low, supplementation with ions™ is necessary. ions™ restores magnesium by employing the most concentrated (90,000 mg/L), fully dissolved magnesium and does so without adding any ammonia. Other liquid magnesium supplements inherently contain ammonia because the magnesium chloride used in their production contains ammonia. This is a result of the mechanisms for deriving and/or producing magnesium chloride. aquavitro™ has gone to considerable lengths to remove this contaminant and a proprietary process makes ions™ the first and only liquid magnesium supplement that does not contain ammonia.

Using a fully dissolved magnesium is critical. Some magnesium supplements use a magnesium source that is simply not soluble, that is, unavailable. This means it can never be utilized by reef organisms, and is, consequently, of no value. Beginner: Use one inner capful (7 ml) for every 125 L (35 gallons*) twice a week. Check magnesium once a week and adjust amount or frequency accordingly.

Advanced: Check magnesium level, then follow addition regimen above until magnesium is adjusted to 1200-1350 mg/L. Each 7 mL/125 L (35 gallons*) will raise magnesium by about 5 mg/L. Quantity or frequency can be adjusted, but do not exceed 35 mL/125 L (35 gallons*) per day. Thereafter, use as required to maintain magnesium.
